Evenly Female + Expo announced for International Women's Day

Evenly Female + Expo. After five years of championing and supporting women across the county, I am incredibly excited to continue this mission through Evenly Female, a place to empower, connect and inspire.

As part of this next chapter, I also announced that I will be curating a flagship event for International Women's Day next March, with expressions of interest now open for those who would like to play a part in shaping the occasion.

The event is something that has been cooking in my head for a few years and will be a true celebration of female led, female founded, majority female business + all their allies, with opportunities for exhibitors, speakers and workshops, as well as attending the event to take it all in.

I want to ensure that this event gives opportunities to new and growing businesses, so a proportion of the profit from the event will be used to create a 'pitching fund'. Female founders will then be invited to pitch for a variety of amounts from this pot to put towards starting or growing their businesses. Local businesses will also be invited to add their own contributions to this pot to create a broader package, and some of our sponsors will sit on the judging panel.

I also hope to work with a local college and invite students to help out on the day for a small shift, in exchange for an attendee ticket where they can make the most of the rest of the day!

Keep an eye out for announcements over the coming months.
